“I had the pleasure of using Yesica Garcia and YES Event Planning for our destination wedding in November 2019. Without her our 4-day Indian wedding would not have been possible! Our wedding was not your normal destination wedding that consists of immediate family and a small beachside ceremony; instead, it consisted of over 550 guests, 50 vendors, seven events, and a full hotel buyout.
Yesica played an integral part in helping us communicate our idea, vision, and requests with the venue, JW Marriott’s Los Cabos, as well as the local vendors. She was prompt, positive, and always went above and beyond the task that was assigned to her”
For example, it was my wife’s dream to end our wedding ceremony with fireworks right after we say, “I do.” The trouble was that we lived in New York and didn’t know what time to start the ceremony with the priest so that the fireworks would be in sync for nautical twilight. When we told Yesica our problem, she went to the venue and took pictures of the sunlight/sunset at various times so we could determine the timings of our ceremony.
Our event had a total of 12 different meals served. Each meal consisted of multiple appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Getting ingredients, educating the venue required a lot of patience and diligence as the hotel staff was Mexican, and the cuisine being served was Indian. Yesica made sure our strict dietary requirement, as well as all the equipment the caterer needed, was delivered in a timely fashion, so the event was a success!
On a more personal level, Yesica is kind, a great listener and has a heart of gold. I’m proud to say she quickly transitioned from an event planner to a dear friend.
